The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded in the United States in 1882, it is named in honor of Christopher Columbus. The Knights of Columbus has grown from several members in one council to more than 14,000 councils and 1.8 million members worldwide. Membership is limited to practicing Catholic men aged 18 or older.
Throughout its history, the Order has helped families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs. It gives millions of dollars annually to charities and its members perform millions of hours of voluntary service.

The Knights serve the Church, our community, and our country by acts of faith and charity. Knights put their faith into action through activities that build faith (e.g., praying the Rosary, attending Holy Hour), honor the family (e.g., recognize a Family of the Month, celebrate Family Week, and keep Christ in Christmas), support the community (e.g., helping people with disabilities, disaster preparedness, and the Camino de Ocean Shores), and respect the sanctity of human life (e.g., Pregnancy Center Support, Special Olympics, and the Silver Rose). Discover for yourself. Catholic men over 18 years old, you are welcome to drop in to observe our work on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. in the social hall. You may volunteer to just help us even as you take time to decide to join. Then when you’re ready – we’ll welcome you to the Knights.
